Since it’s a Webflow App, Data Goat is super-easy to install. However, there are two things you need to pay attention to these two issues:

  • Not having GA4 account — Data Goat uses GA4, so it’s important to have a GA4 account and connect it to Data Goat to start using the Webflow analytics tool
  • Not authorizing your Webflow project — During the setup process, you will have to select the projects that you want to authorize for using Data Goat.

How to Integrate Data Goat with Webflow

The installation process is much more streamlined compared to standard integrations. Let’s take a look.

  1. Go to Data Goat website and begin the signup process.
  2. Fill out the form or sign up via Google.
  3. Connect your GA4
  4. Connect your Webflow account — You will have to pick the site you want to add Data Goat to at this step.
  5. Log in to your Webflow account and go to Webflow Designer for the site at hand.
  6. In the menu on the left find the Apps icon and click on it.
  7. Find Data Goat and click launch
  8. Login to Data Goat and start tracking analytics
